We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it (including for users under the EU GDPR).
At checkout: email, the memorial name and dedication (plus the recipient’s name when buying for someone else).
Moment of Passing: date, time and place of passing (submitted for the astronomical calculation; the memorial profile is stored to generate your certificate, 3D night sky and visibility tracker). The moment and place of passing are visible to visitors only when you choose to share your star page. Free calculations without a purchase store no information.
Order and payment records: order number, amount, payment status. We never see or store your card number or payment credentials — those are handled directly by our payment provider (Waffo Pancake).
Fulfilment: generating certificates and star pages, sending order notifications.
Customer service: responding to your enquiries and refund requests.
Legal obligations: tax, accounting and regulatory record-keeping.
We never sell your personal information and never use it for marketing without your consent.
Waffo Pancake: payment and refund processor; as Merchant of Record it processes the transaction and carries the related obligations.
These providers process data under their own privacy policies.
We use functional cookies (language, session, checkout state) to keep the site working; we do not run third-party advertising trackers.
We use Google Analytics (GA4) and Microsoft Clarity for anonymous, aggregated visit statistics (including heatmaps and session insights) — analytics only, not advertising. Clarity is active as soon as the page loads; GA4 runs in consent mode — no analytics cookies are written before you agree, and declining keeps it cookie-less. You can change your choice anytime via the banner at the bottom. To opt out of Clarity session recording, append ?noclarity=1 to the URL or use a content blocker.
Server logs may record visit time and IP for security and troubleshooting only, and are deleted periodically.
Order and payment records are kept as required for tax and legal purposes (typically at least 5 years); other personal data is kept for as long as the service relationship lasts.
You can remove non-essential content from your star page; for account deletion, contact us.
You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to withdraw consent, and to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.

Our site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Updates to this policy are posted on this page with a revised date. Material changes will be notified separately.
